Key responsibilities

An officer at this grade will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:.
Supporting in implementation of policies, strategies, guidelines, plans, standards and procedures relating to ICT Systems, Network and Security while ensuring compliance to applicable laws, statutes and circulars;.
Configuring, managing, maintaining and ensuring security of ICT infrastructure, programmes and equipment;.
Implementing ICT systems and networks;.
Maintaining ICT Systems, Network and Security equipment and inventory in the Authority;.
Providing ICT Systems, Network and Security technical support in the Authority;.
Initiating corrective action, system safeguards and recovery plans in case of disaster or data loss.
Updating all records in the division;.
Consolidating data for compiling internal and external reports in the division;.
Implementing risks mitigation measures; and.
Developing and implementing individual work plans.

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have the following Qualifications:.
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Business Information Technology, Information Communication Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;.
Professional Certification in any two of the following: – Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and.
Certificate in ethical hacking.
