Key responsibilities
- Monitor clients’ functional assessments and formulation of necessary interventions;.
- Maintain records and data relating to patients;.
- Supervise the provision of health education to patients and caregivers;.
- Spearhead home environmental assessment;.
- Monitor follow-up on the patient’s progress;.
- Promote data collection and for research;.
- Prepare periodic reports;.
- Promote and enhance mentorship and coaching strategies with a view to be consistent with the technical services principles and practices in water and sanitation provision.
- Steer development, implementation, monitoring and review of a robust performance management system through providing oversight of the delivery of the annual performance contract and the strategic plan.
Candidate requirements
- Professional Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution.
- Professional Membership to a relevant professional body in good standing.
- Academic Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
- Professional Cumulative service period of nine (9) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Therapist I or in a comparable position.
