Key responsibilities
- Ensure GDFCSL Departments Risk Registers are maintained and are updated by Risk Owners/Heads of Departments.
- Conduct periodic enterprise-wide risk review and provide feedback across all departments and depots.
- Follow up implementation of recommendations arising from risk and compliance reviews.
- Ensure risk and compliance information presented to management is accurate, timely and supported by evidence.
- Monitor reported risk, fraud, compliance and control incidents.
- Promote risk awareness throughout the organization.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management or a related field.
- Professional qualification: CRMA (Certification in Risk Management Assurance), CPA, CIA.
- (Certified Internal Auditor), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CFE (Certified Fraud.
- Examiner), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), or a recognized.
- Risk/compliance qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in risk management, internal audit, governance,.
- Controls. compliance, or a related field.
- At least 4 years’ experience in a supervisory position.
