Key responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the facility.
- Verify identification of staff, visitors, and tenants.
- Conduct security screening of personnel, baggage, vehicles, and cargo.
- Check import and export cargo and verify relevant documentation.
- Monitor and record incoming and outgoing vehicles, ULDs, and pallets.
- Screen export cargo and Dangerous Goods in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Escort cargo between the aircraft and warehouse when required.
- Monitor the security of the warehouse, premises, and surrounding areas.
- Monitor the performance of contracted security personnel.
- Maintain required security records and documentation.
- Report security incidents, discrepancies, and irregularities.
- Comply with company policies, security procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
- Aircraft and inflight security and access control of persons and vehicles.
- Hold Baggage security.
- Cargo and mail screening and security.
Candidate requirements
- KCSE Grade C and above.
- DGR Category 12 certification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in security operations.
- Knowledge of ground handling and warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Valid driving licence.
