Key responsibilities

  • Ecosystem strategy and partner origination: Map priority sectors, value chains and women-entrepreneur ecosystems, and maintain a risk-rated partnership pipeline. Originate relationships with associations, corporates, aggregators, fintechs, insurers, development partners, government agencies, incubators, employers, professional bodies, Chamas/SACCOs and market-access platforms. Prepare value propositions and business cases covering customer need, economics, lead potential, risks and expected impact.
  • Due diligence and governance: Coordinate commercial, legal, compliance, procurement, data-privacy and operational due diligence. Define referral rules, customer consent, service levels, data-sharing controls and exit provisions. Maintain signed agreements, partner records and governance calendars.
  • Partner activation and referrals: Develop joint activation plans covering women forums, financial education, campaigns and value-chain events. Route consented, qualified leads to branches and track each one through the funnel. Equip regions and branches with partner briefs, referral protocols and engagement calendars.
  • Relationship management: Maintain senior partner relationships and run quarterly business reviews. Identify opportunities to deepen partner-linked customers through finance, payments, insurance, digital services and non-financial support.
  • Performance and learning: Measure partner productivity, lead conversion, customer reach, cost and return on partnership investment. Recommend whether to scale, remediate or exit partnerships. Share market trends and customer insights with Product, Sales and Digital teams.
