Key responsibilities
- Assessing, planning and implementing nursing interventions;.
- Evaluating patient outcomes;.
- Providing healthcare education and counselling to patients/clients on identified health needs;.
- Referring patients and clients appropriately;.
- Facilitating patients’ admission and initiating discharge plans;.
- Documenting and maintaining relevant records;.

Candidate requirements
- For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:.
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Nursing (KRN) or Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN); Kenya registered midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing / Mental Health and Psychiatric or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution;.
- Been registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya;.
- Valid practicing licence from the Nursing Council; and.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
