Key responsibilities

An officer at this grade will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:.
Supporting the implementation of policies, strategies, guidelines, plans, standards and procedures pertaining to Inspections, while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, rules and regulations;.
Conducting inspections of Police facilities and premises under the control of the Service to professionalize the service;.
Implementing inspection tools, concepts and controls to suit emerging trends in policing;.
Collecting and collating data for compiling inspection reports;.
Following up on recommendations arising from inspections of police facilities and premises;.
Conducting rapid inspections response activities in the Authority; and.
Updating records in the division.

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have the following qualifications:.
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Law, Public Administration, Public Policy, Criminology & Criminal Justice, Sociology, Political Science, Social Sciences, Military, Security Studies or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and.
Proficiency in computer applications.
