Key responsibilities
- Analysing, designing, testing and implementing ICT applications;.
- Providing advanced user support; Maintaining and support ICT systems;.
- Training end users in ICT systems; Repairing and maintaining ICT equipment;.
- Maintaining and updating online sites and portals;.
- Maintaining Local Area Networks and Wide Area networks; and.

Candidate requirements
- For appointment to this grade, an officer must have;.
- Cumulative service period of six (6) years’ relevant work experience three (3) years should have been in the grade of ICT Assistant II or in a comparable position.
- Diploma in any of the following fields: Computer Science, ICT, IT, ICT Systems Support, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering & Maintenance, Computer Networking, Software Development, Business Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; and.
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
