Key responsibilities
- Ensure that data protection measures are in place and strictly adhered to at all events.
- Lead on public facing marketing initiatives in consultation with the Line Manager.
- Lead the three sections to allocate three open days per year, per school and two careers day, with the key responsibilities of managing, planning and marketing being a key role.
- Working with AKS, Mombasa and occasionally the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa, to promote, support or be integrally involved in events hosted at the school i. e. sports or swimming galas.
- Capture photography and/or videography of key events at AKS, Mombasa, and occasionally at other venues outside the school as required.
- In time, work this Aga Khan School, Mombasa to update the section on our website about the school.
- Ensure that AKS, Mombasa events are adequately branded and that all public-facing communication e. g. letters, certificates, trophies, etc. have been approved by the line manager.
- Assist with guidance on branding, communications and publication of events,.
- Support Central Office to coordinate media events, invites and updates in Mombasa.
- Help create guidelines for different programmes as the schools require i. e. Mental Health and Water, Sanitation & Hygiene etc.
- Maintain a database and repository for videography and photography taken.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication or Digital media.
- At least 2 years working experience.
- Experience in a school setup will be an added advantage.
- Adobe Suite certification or proven work experience.
